Worker’s Memorial Day
Each year more than 6000 Australians are killed, injured or become ill because of their work conditions or workplace.
Legislative Assembly members, union members and the UnionsACT Voices choir gathered at the Assembly on the International Day of Mourning. They joined with members of the union movement and the public throughout the country to remember those who have died or been injured and to campaign for safer workplaces.
