“When the dog bites...”
Wayne with Bruce Tunks, an artist and Hands On Studio tutor at the exhibition opening in Tuggeranong.
David Kilby from ABC Radio recently opened an exhibition by artists from Hands On Studio, a non-profit organization which provides art classes for people with disabilities in the Canberra region.
“When the dog bites” is based on the idea behind a song from the musical, Sound of Music, and features paintings (acrylic on canvas) which focus on the artists’ favourite things.
Twenty Hands On Studio artists participated in workshops with professional artists Karina Henderson, Peter McLean and BruceTunks.
Everyone at the Exhibition was impressed with the standard of the artists’ work and we look forward to future exhibitions.
