The owners of the Williamsdale Quary had this to say about Wayne and his efforts on their behalf.
"The Williamsdale Quarry which the ACT Government have a license to operate is on our land at Williamsdale. This quarry has the potential to contribute $50 million to the ACT and region providing profit and savings for the ACT Government to spend on schools, hospitals, police, roads, emergency services and the community.
"We asked Wayne to help us campaign to bring the quarry to its full potential.
"It quickly became apparent that Wayne is a highly approachable person who gives his personal time to listen to people. He is honest and professional and works to get the best result for the people of the ACT and to protect the Territory's investment in ventures such as the Williamsdale Quarry."
